As of Tuesday, however, City Procurement Officer Louise Miller said the city had received one proposal to operate the station, from a website called Community Media Medford operated by Medford resident and former TV3 producer Joseph Viglione.
McGlynn said the city was still reviewing the proposal.
“We want to make sure we follow every step of the process all the way through and then we’ll make a decision based on what’s before us,” he said
January 6, 2020 to April 2, 2020 = 88 days Rep Christine Barber, Mayor Lungo Koehn, Senator Pat Jehlen and photographer Joseph Fortunato 26 days in January from Jan 6, 29 in February, 31 in March, two in April thus far… Photo by Joe Viglione.
As we enter the fourth month of the Lungo-Koehn Administraton – twelve days away from the first 100 days – three full months as of Sunday, April 5, we are looking at one eighth of Breanna’s term in office. 1/8th already. Keep in mind that I like Breanna Lungo-Koehn so there is true and real objectivity here. This is a report card on the first 100 days. If I didn’t like Breanna I would write some Ken Krause puff piece with no facts and mere propaganda. Y’all know me better than that. All this article is for you is a reflection of Breanna’s documented actions. Keep that in mind at 11:11 am 4-2-2020 as I continue this investigation.
To be commended is better transparency.
It’s light years ahead of Mayor McGlynn and Mayor Stephanie Muccini-Burke, however this journalist has had to submit too many public records requests for my liking. I was looking forward to a city hall that would just publish pertinent information without us having to employ the law. A law that forces their hand to do what they promised to do in the first plce.
“The night, or administration, is still young…but not for a new mayor who has worked in city government as a city councilor lo all these years.
Having known Breanna for well over a decade she is one of my two favorite councilors. That speaks volumes, doesn’t it, about the city council that fell into her lap. A council designed for Stephanie Muccini-Burke with individuals who cannot behave on camera, fail to adhere to their oath of office, and who take a wrecking ball to the city council rules. How is this helpful to a new mayor to have such agent provocateurs and saboteurs voting for Breanns’a issues?
1)COVID-19 vs The Medford Brady List: …and the world comes to a halt.
It is a pickle. A new mayor after thirty-two years of McGlynn/Muccini-Burke and the first item of business is The L’Italien Report. The Brady List still needs to be addressed despite the interference of the corona virus, a.k.a. COVID-19. Public safety is mandatory and having the most dishonest city employees in all of Middlesex when it comes to the police department should not and cannot be buried, ignored and treated as if these cops were merely jaywalking. On our sister site, Medford Information Central, the L’Italien Report – from Nov 22, 2019, leaped back to #1 April 1 and April 2.* (see below for the facts)
2)City Council Needs a Do-Over: In a bizarre and unnatural way, it was a rescue raft from the discussion of the Brady list, the L’Italien Report, Pay-to-Park, some not quite ready for prime time players in Breanna’s administration, the continuing public access fiasco – comletely negligent during a crisus when the adults are separate from the children, and Breanna Lungo-Koehn’s puzzling penchant to reach out to people who hate and despise her like Adam Knight, George Scarpelli, Rick Caraviello – yes – the Stephanie Muccini-Burke crew.
If those three individuals in particular are found to be violating their oath of office or some other alleged misdeed that can remove them for a violation of the public trust which is alleged by this writer, they would be replaced by Natalie Breen, Erin DiBenedetto and Jean Nuzzo. And do you know what that would do to city government in Medford? It would be an earth-shaking event giving Breanna Lungo-Koehn HER council, not Stephanie Muccini-Burke’s rubber stamps, and it would make Michael Marks the King of the Council rendering John Falco irrelevant. As it stands Mr. Falco would be next in line to be Mayor should Breanna step down, so that is how essential it is to ensure the ouster of Caraviello, Knight and Scarpelli. They are a clear and present danger to life in Medford and I am living proof of that. Defeating Caraviello 1/31/17 was a victory for all the people of Medford. A huge victory. So that’s where we are in regards to the politics of politics. Let’s get back to the situations other than Covid-19.
3)The Brady List and Medford having the WORST record, by far, in Middlesex County
Breanna’s Intentional Negligence on Investigating THE BRADY LIST
So Police Chief Jack Buckley WANTS the public trust without earning it? That’s not the way the world works and after Chief Buckley told the city council that on October 1, 2019 – six months ago yesterday, well it was an April Fool’s prank six months in advance.
Our response was to release the L’Italien Report and then the Middlesex Brady list. Breanna Lungo-Koehn espouses transparency, Joe Viglione delivers. But therein lies the rub, doesn’t it? How long have certain residents done the heavy lifting while the politicians and their surrogates take advantage. McGlynn certainly hijacked all my hard work and honest efforts investigating TV3 because McGlynn’s scarecrow to keep the public out WAS TV3.
Ex Solicitor Mark Rumley was thoroughly dishonest with the public paying him – of course he had to be. He was appointed to the very board that was behaving in a corrupt and malicious manner and did nothing to prevent it; Rumley and McGlynn enabled it spitting on your hard-earned money.
This is Breanna Lungo-Koehn’s Biggest Weakness as Mayor and McGlynn WILL Exploit it
Breanna is intentionally ignoring the Brady list. Like Donald Trump at his worst Breanna is putting her head in the sand in ostrich fashion hoping the public will ignore the fact that her police department – or the one she inherited 100 days or so ago – is the very worst in Middlesex County by far. THIRTY OFFICERS- that’s three beyond the twenty-seven involved in the L’Italien report and that doesn’t include reprobate disaster Stephen Lebert or his uncle or Paul Covino or Detective Mackowski.
How ugly is that?
More Medford officers SHOULD be Brady listed and your new mayor is dancing with the stars, throwing lollipops and confetti and auditioning for the role of Polyanna with the Harvard St. Glee Club and Sewing Circle. And along comes the Corona virus and your mayor is throwing rose petals. Oooops. Well, the virus stopped that error in judgment, didn’t it? But Breanna now has an excuse not to go after dirty cops, and that excuse is a virus.
So Buckley is up there at the podium equally deficient in the honesty department as his partner-in-crime Rumley that evening. As brass and as ugly as anything Donald J. Trump could come up with, screwing you and asking for the public trust. Yeah, like police officer/bank robber Gerry Clemente caught naked and exposed, these fiends do not give a damn about you.
Breanna Lungo-Koehn’s first three months in the spotlight are marked with a failure to take on the police department the way she did on the campaign trail.
This regrettable tendency towards caving in and not fighting for the people is intolerable. What we have is a mayor who is not as malicious as McGlynn or Muccini-Burke, but who – like her predecessors – fails to do the right thing because of perceived/imagined political consequences. Why am I the only guy putting into print what you are all thinking?
4)The Elephant in the Room – Mike McGlynn – the Hatfields to the Lungo Family’s McCoys
I don’t have to continue to beat this issue into the ground. if the public doesn’t see the McGlynn shadow lurking in the hallways of 85 George P. Hassett Drive and casting a dark cloud over everything the new mayor is doing, Breanna certainly sees it and can feel it. How will she handle the all-powerful Wizard of Oz, Mike McGlynn? That, ladies and gentlemen, we shall watch very closely.
5)Errors in Building New Administration
David Rodrigues and Neil Osborne are not classy gentlemen. Rodrigues needs to be open and honest when dealing with individuals while Osborne embarrasses himself with just about every tweet. This is a double-edged sword that is the result of listening to consultants rather than going with your women’s intuition.
This journalist was the first to uncover that Stephanie Muccini-Burke’s Chief of Staff, Teresa Walsh, was exiled on Main Street, like a great Rolling Stones double disc. I’m also the first guy to detect how Rodrigues has an alleged conflict of interest when dealing with the public and is not so transparent when he has an obligation to be. Why isn’t someone Breanna can trust like Bob Penta her Chief of Staff? She wanted Bob to be mayor and now she barely gives him the time of day??? The people who contributed positively to the community need a more active role in Breanna Lungo-Koehn’s administration and this failing could be her Achilles’ heel. Trusty Wikipedia can explain it to Breanna: An Achilles‘ heel or Achilles heel is a weakness in spite of overall strength, which can lead to downfall. While the mythological origin refers to a physical vulnerability, idiomatic references to other attributes or qualities that can lead to downfall are common.
Let those who have ears hear Matthew 11:15 Whoever has ears, let them hear.
6)PaytoPark / Public Access
What the heck? Covid-19 has pushed the pay-to-park fiasco off the table for the moment. The MBTA isn’t charging for bus rides, Pay to Park would only further punish citizens tucked deep inside their homes and tucked even deeper into the fear of a worldwide pandemic. Do you know that the earth now has less movement and it allows scientists to monitor better? The Day the Earth Stood Still is more than a movie these days, isn’t it?
But in our greatest time of need Medford is still without a true media center. I’ll let you in on a little secret – when Michael Marks and Rick Caraviello and the other frauds endorsing Patrick Gordon on your city council actually spill the beans – that Seventy Thousand Dollars is going to one inefficient and unqualified person, Mr. Gordon, then – Houston – and Medford – there’s a problem. The little secret is that Gordon, much like Winchester (WinCAM) and Malden (MATV) cater to the politicians so they can run their little fiefdom and collect paychecks for not doing their jobs properly. And you know when it comes to access TV I have more than just a little experience in this, having started in 1979 on Day St. in Somerville.
In 2005 I applied for the job of TV3’s station manager and – instead – they hired a kid, Jason, who at least was a nice person, but the board of directors wouldn’t know a station manager if it bit them. So I bit them and forced McGlynn to remove them. You’re welcome, citizens.
Had I been installed in 2005 you would see my quick and efficient reaction to COVID-19 by having each and every elected official on the television station informing the public of what they are doing to help you and your families. Now you know – outside of Breanna – there’s been no visible signs of Rick Caraviello giving limo rides to the poor and the elderly, no sign of George Scarpelli fetching paper towels for incapacitated people locked in their homes, circus barker Michael Marks in the center of town handing out pamphlets on how to keep your family safe. Hey, if Wakefield’s Selectmen are all VOLUNTEERING their time to help their town, why are YOU paying Thirty Thousand Dollars each to a bunch of jokers clowning around in room 207 and laughing when Adam Knight is trying to change council rules to further inhibit your ability to exercise the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution? That’s what you are paying for when Wakefield gets volunteers to work FOR – on behalf of – the public. And Stoneham and Woburn get free Gannett Wicked Local when you are charged two bucks for it in Medford.
Well, obviously I know things, and that’s why you read this popular set of news sites.
In conclusion of Part 1 of Breanna’s First 100 Days we have a nice lady, a good First Husband, a great family, an upgrade from the last administration. That’s a plus but it is not good enough. We need leadership. We need a woman who was against TV3 to step up and remove Stephanie Muccini-Burke’s leftovers. Divide the 70K paid to Patrick Gordon into two $35,000.00 checks and have an E.D. and a station manager. Be proactive during the Covid-19 crisis. The access TV station can benefit Medford and it isn’t. No outreach, no facilitation of programming, just some shmuck not-ready-for-prime-time doing the bidding of the Government channel, not the Public that is funding it. And when snickering Laura Duggan and loud-mouth Ken Krause show up to defend Pat Gordon, only to have Kenneth Krause yelling and disrupting a council meeting on March 10, 2020 because he objected to my plan of 500 new members by the end of 2020, well, it’s still a private access station. Self-serving Ken Krause thinks he knows it all. Yelling and trying to incite a fight at a city council meeting (shame on John Falco for not slamming the gavel,) is an indication that we still have a private access station. They don’t want 500 members, and Breanna failing to act is a problem.
TO CONCLUDE PART 1:
Breanna is a nice lady. That’s better than having Stephanie, a not very ladylike mayor. So we’ve made an upgrade…frosting on the cake of the same old same old. You have 7/8ths of a term as mayor, Breanna, to right the ship. I know a few people who can help you do that, but – oh my God, you’d have to live up to your campaign promises to do so…and your consultants can’t have any of that. Let me remind you, your consultants don’t pay your salary, the citizens do.
PART 2 TO FOLLOW with an analysis of the city council and the inept and bungling Adam Knight and Rick Caraviello Show.
* (Editor’s note: The L’Italien Report was eclipsed at 11:18 pm April 1, 2020 as I was writing this, but that it jumped back to #1 April 1, even for a few hours, and is hovering in the Top 3 all these months shows amazing resiliency. NEW NOTE at 12:07 pm L’Italien report is back at #1 April 2) – It is a huge indicator of the great public interest in this story. Our sister blog has 1,584,053 page views as of 11:18 pm – 415,947 to two million page views to show the popularity of this information, which puts a glaring spotlight on two issues: Great Public Interest and the Public Trust. In the midst of it is – the Covid-19 issue changing the conversation, the tone and its addition of confusion. Upending what we thought was normal. http://medfordinformationcentral.blogspot.com/2019/11/the-litalien-report-how-we-will-post.html
During this crisis Medford Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn needs a strong a vibrant Twitter account.
Medford Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn @MayorLungoKoehn The official account of the Medford Mayor. Sadly, there are only 98 Followers and 20 that city hall is following on the site: @MayorLungoKoehn . Even more discouraging is that the TV station manager sends out a Tweet with no hashtags of significance, no notice to the key Twitters in the city, like maybe the police and fire… just a wasted seventy-thousand dollars a year ,
27 Tweets – and only 27 tweets since January 2020? The followers are now 100 @ 1:12 pm up from 98 when I started writing this essay.
FollowingMedford Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn@MayorLungoKoehn
Why isn’t Robert M. Penta Breanna’s Chief-of-Staff instead of someone who has bounced around from job to job and had a serious conflict of interest when telling me he would go to Patrick Gordon and ask about my show. I’ve not heard back from that individual since March 10th and he didn’t fully disclose to me who he is. THAT is what is running the ship in Medford and THAT is, ostensibly, why the Twitter account is so weak. Weak advisors lead to non-performance. Why isn’t Cheryl Rodriguez or Jean Nuzzo or Erin DiBenedetto or Natalie Breen more front and center when they have so much to offer? We believed Breanna that this would be about integrity and transparency and community and now, in a crisis, we have a video that is like a tree falling in the forest with no one there to hear it: does it make a sound?
Not with a Ben Brown type like Patrick Gordon as ineffective as Ben was, or worse. During a crisis!
This does NOT help the community AT ALL. The video Breanna issued is getting more traction from my websites – Visual-Radio.net, MedfordInformationCentral.com and Real Medford Mass. Politics on Facebook, and now here. Stephanie Muccini-Burke hijacked my legitimate named filed at city hall, Community Media Medford, and Breanna is working with Stephanie’s leftovers – it is as preposterous as it is dangerous, and the word on this virus is NOT getting out under a novice like Patrick Gordon who should stick with editing and let the adults in the room help the community survive this pandemic. We’re not talking about a common cold here, we are talking about a friggin’ pandemic and Breanna has her finger in the air wondering which way the political winds are blowing? That is NOT what you do during a crisis.
The major media, the firefighter union, these individuals who need to hear the Mayor’s speech were left off of the Twitter hashtag or @ key triggers – so why even Tweet? Wednesday, April 3, 2019, 03:46 I sent the mayor and her husband information on how to promote with Twitter. I got a thank you when the mayor really needed to hire me. It is now 12:46 pm on Monday 3/23/2020 and the Breanna4Mayor campaign account has 39 following and 46 followers. The account was opened July of 2019. A book author who hired me to handle his social media didn’t like the idea of Twitter. But I pounded the point home and months after we oppened his account – joined in May of 2019, look at his activity 11.7k following, 11.5 k followers
The fellow has taught language in many countries – most recently Vietnam. I introduced him to my life partner on Thanksgiving, 2013 as my best friend taught English to the people of Europe as well. Eleven. 7 thousand following, eleven.5 thousand followers, and our mayor in a city of 60,000 or so people has 98 followers? Really?
I taught the author about putting hashtags in your bio. These “core hashtags” are smart and are key. Rex, the author, resisted my preaching the “Gospel of Twitter” but within four months he “got it” and he is hooked in with authors from around the world.
It didn’t happen by magic. It took hard work, and Rex flying to Vietnam where he spent a couple of hours a day working on Twitter. Now his message gets out and is highly effective.
We are in not just a crisis but a PANDEMIC. The mayor is shooting spitballs on Twitter and her speech is landing with a thud. Only 21 views because the inept and bungling Pat Gordon doesn’t do any work that I can see…lazy beyond lazy, and twenty-one people are viewing the Mayor as of 3/23/2020 @ 1:02 pm https://medford.vod.castus.tv/vod/?video=adb76adb-43df-40d4-b7a5-522c0c6c3900&nav=live Now is the time Breanna Lungo-Koehn needs the real public access in Medford, Community Media Medford.
Truth be told, without an adult running access TV, people could die from this epidemic.
The mayor promised UNITY and TRANSPARENCY but has failed to contact me to straighten this access mess out. And you, dear resident and community member, are getting screwed by this lack of bringing together the community…and the very real threat is that any of us could die within a week. So you trust your children to Pat Gordon? Really?
Breanna – I am here to help. Let me work on your Twitter and get the word out
Founder and Executive Director
Community Media Medford
the name and ideas stolen by city hall under Muccini-Burke without the man who has the years of experience and the passion to make good, positive things happen at our public access station.
Joe Viglione, called by one lawyer “the Avenging Angel of Access TV” shut down TV3 Medford with hard work, courage, and with the community in mind.
What I envision for the Medford community is a space which allows for the creation of content without the fear of being physically assaulted as the previous station would either threaten or actually commit; without the fear of being sued, harassed, stalked at your home or office. What transpired under former Mayor Michael J. McGlynn and transpires through the whims of the current mayor, Stephanie Muccini-Burke, are gangster-like tactics which abuse the public both funding the station and paying these alleged “public servants.”
Medford pays for better service, and Medford deserves and will have better, even if it means the incarceration of Stephanie Muccini-Burke, her violent city clerk Edward P. Finn (“He’s not MY clerk,” Mrs. Burke said to me at LaCascia’s Bakery in May of 2017, throwing the unstable and highly temperamental Finn right under the bus,) the vulgar husband of the mayor – Brian S. Burke, the hostile and erratic City Solicitor of Medford, and members of the Medford City Council and Medford School Committee who put cronyism first and public service second.
Years ago long-time Medford City Solicitor Mark E. Rumley said to producer/writer Joe Viglione “No one would do this (the effort to free access,) for himself; you are doing this for the community.” Indeed, yet we now have evidence that the person standing in the way of free speech, the architect of censorship in Medford, was none other than Solicitor Rumley, and how unfair is that?
Medford needs the best Community Media station possible, but Mayor Stephanie Muccini-Burke loathes free speech and is abusing the P/E/G monies to finance the Educational and Government channels, disadvantaging the community
By Joe Viglione, Award-Winning Host of Visual Radio and the Pop Explosion
It would be easy to ramble on and on and on about the juveniles MCC TV3 hired in the past and how Stephanie Burke couldn’t find someone FROM Medford, she had to hire an obedient star-struck young man from Brookline. Go figure.
It is called censorship, people, and it is WRONG.
But here’s how we right the ship. My letter to Attorney Scanlon at 11:39 pm or so August 30, 2017
Hi Attorney Scanlon,
Yes, I would very much like a digital copy via e mail as well. Thank you.
Wonder if Ms. Dever-Wood will allow the citizens to be on access TV for this election.
Is the Muccini-Burke Administration so terrified of criticism and Stephanie’s inability to speak clearly without being shrill any reason for the Issuing Authority/Mayor to take advantage of the children, senior citizens and cable tv subscribers?
City Hall serves at the pleasure of the Muccini-Burke Administration, not for the citizens of this municipality.
As one notable resident said to me 8:30 pm tonight in another city “Nothing has changed (under Stephanie.)
An unqualified woman, Mrs. Burke, hires a young man to run an access station when he knows nothing about Medford, and personally told me he didn’t know what kind of an agreement to put together for residents who use Verizon.
So Stephanie hires someone who admitted to me that he doesn’t know what he’s supposed to know.
As you may have seen the e mail, you know that I sent him a document he can use as a model.
Of course when the mayor allegedly orders the impressionable young man not to do the job the citizens are paying him to do, there’s no access TV during a critical primary election.
This is not a competent mayor.
She’s as incompetent as Rick Caraviello mumbling under oath in a court of law.
You had to be there January 31, 2017 to believe such an incoherent dullard is actually the president of the Medford City Council.
And this is not digression, it is the sad reality of life under Muccini-Burke.
Thank you again for your sending the document, and reading my important thoughts and observations
Now for some fun at the superintendent’s expense – he’s rich, he can afford it:
All you need to look at are the shifty eyes of Roy E. Belson, superintendent of schools, standing next to one of the reprobates from Medford Community Cablevision, Inc., the failed 501c3 that is being investigated by the office of the Attorney General, Maura Healey, to know that Medford Access Television has gone to hell in a hand basket in the era of Hurricane Harvey, and don’t ignore the irony within that statement.
Bonus photo – ugly Dr. Rabies going to see Ben Brown.
Ben, Ben, BEN – what were you thinking? If Ben knew about Medford he would have had his can of Raid ready to stop Rabies at the door!
Now there’s a dream date for all you gals on Match.com Bertorelli or Deluca?
Decisions, decisions! How about two for one?
Now to really ruin your day with the power of suggestion. Imagine a porn movie with the three individuals in these two photographs. That would not be rated X for prurient content…more like X for Too Terrifying!
With questions swirling about the 2015 election – one of Muccini-Burke’s invisible “transition team” bragging around the city that he stole the election for Burke, why hasn’t the Federal Bureau of Investigation looked into the allegations?
How does a woman as unqualified as Muccini-Burke stay in office? You would need corrupt members of the Medford City Council supporting her, and at least two councilors – Adam Knight who flagrantly promotes himself as the chosen one from embattled Teamsters Local 25 (5 members indicted during the election; Sean O’Brien with a suspension for threats on his record – not the kind of people you want to meet with in a dark alley,) and Fred Dello Russo, Jr., the anti-social Jekyll and Hyde who smiles and shakes hands as an undertaker and, presto change-o, becomes a socially inept moron as a human being after hours.
Dello Russo “looked like he had lost his best friend” one council colleague noted after Dello Russo was pummeled in the primary. How the hell does such a joke of a councilor who has rarely, if ever, filed a motion or resolution – who essentially doesn’t do the job the residents demand and deserve – how does someone so inept with very little advertising, rebound in the general election?
That’s simple – it is clear that there was funny business with Election 2015, a stolen election, with unpopular candidates magically getting in when the citizens of Medford, utterly frustrated, did not vote for those individuals.
The FBI was alerted in July of 2015 that the election would be stolen. Mayor McGlynn stuffing positions on boards and commissions that he had let lapse for years, frantically working to elect Stephanie Muccini-Burke, her robo-calls smearing and defaming the popular opponent.
Day #134 of 2015 finds so much alleged infighting at Medford City Hall that it reportedly makes Captain America: Civil War look like a day at the beach. Mike Nestor purportedly wearing shorts, sneakers and no socks to work at the DPW, just part of the sick joke that Muccini-Burke and McGlynn played on the city by having an election where a computer chip raised doubts about the honesty of the election. Then there was City Clerk Ed Finn flipping out on June 16, 2015, a stalker harassing a journalist on June 12th and 13th – the victim obtaining a restraining order against the then 58-year old ex marine who had spent 17 months defaming and threatening him, invading his privacy, casting vicious aspersions, finally ending up at the man’s home to frighten his household.
May 13 is the 133rd day of the year (134th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 232 days remaining until the end of the year.
Since the stalker was aligned with Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. and, prior to the restraining order on her, was voted off of a board of directors of a 501c3 for harassment, it becomes clear that the events with the stalker (who was never arrested by the police in Medford and Malden, despite numerous complaints filed on her,) and the city clerk can’t be coincidence. Especially – in retrospect – when the current “mayor” has a vile and disgusting husband – an assistant clerk at Superior Court, who called the victim a vulgarity when the victim was set to be the back-up videographer at the Great Debate, which assistant court clerk Brian S. Burke’s wife lost in spectacular fashion.
Stephanie Muccini-Burke lost the great debate, and, in a panic, was non-stop polling to see how many votes she was behind. The huge turnout for her opponent at Montvale Plaza on two occasions, her poor turnout at Bistro, and city councilors being elected when their popularity was at an all-time low, raised suspicions among residents.
Now Muccini-Burke is staffing her Administration with payback, quid-pro-quo, her son’s girlfriend, a former city councilor’s wife, her campaign manager’s wife, positions going to allegedly unqualified people and a corner office in chaos.
If ever a woman needed to be impeached it is Stephanie Muccini-Burke, vindictive and hell-bent on retaliation, she is now going after former colleagues like Captain Ahab chasing the great white whale. It is sick. Rumor has it she is paranoid, looking for leaks, and ready to use her authority – not to better Medford – but to dish out vengeance. Her unbalanced husband allegedly stated on November 3 after the election was allegedly stolen “Payback begins tomorrow.”
Does that sound like a sane man? And he’s an Assistant Clerk of Courts under Michael Sullivan. Brian S. Burke allegedly told one victim “I have a hit list,” making the victim feel like he was #1 on the list (certainly that would make this journalist #2.) So while Muccini-Burke is harassing one good officer of the law, some of his colleagues on the police force are ENABLING Muccini-Burke’s retaliation. The Attorney General and the District Attorney and Nell Escobar Coakley, the editor of the weekly paper, have all insulated the crazed woman who has hijacked the corner office.
But there is hope, despite these tremendous odds against residents, Muccini-Burke’s partner-in-crime, School Superintendent Roy E. Belson, is facing irate parents and hundreds of signatures to put a plan in place for a new school superintendent. Rumors about Belson and Muccini-Burke covering up a serious sex incident at the high school demands answers. The parents want answers and Roy E, Belson and Mrs. Burke have, thus far, refused to properly answer a public records request on a varsity coach who left the school June 30, 2015. It could be the one thing that finally brings down the entire gang of thugs. Did Muccini-Burke and Superintendent Belson engage in a massive cover-up over a sex scandal? That’s the question parents will be putting to Roy E. Belson over the next couple of weeks.
Foster and Orgeron declared unqualified by Quartzsite council
By JOHN GUTEKUNST
The La Paz County Attorney’s Office is reviewing the actions of the Quartzsite Town Council at their June 4, special meeting. At that meeting, the council approved the canvas of the May 15 general election. They also determined mayoral candidate Ed Foster was not qualified to serve as mayor, and that council candidate Mark Orgeron was not qualified to serve on the council. They determined Patricia Workman was qualified to serve on the council. http://www.parkerpioneer.net/news/article_f2e7daab-6df3-5658-a5a5-8774af81330f.html
“The office is currently reviewing the action taken by the common council at the special meeting,” County Attorney Sam Vederman said in a press release. “I ask that all citizens remain calm and engage in respectful discourse while the review process occurs.”
Review of Committee of the Whole with Stephanie Muccini Burke Wednesday, February 24, 2016
By Joe Viglione
Your chief of staff was fired, removed from City Hall on February 6, and 18 days later Mrs. Burke would rather think about her Feb 28 fundraiser than the elephant in the room: Why an attorney that worked with Burke on the embattled campaign to be Mayor suddenly was disappeared like a junior varsity head coach, unceremoniously booted, sayonara, don’t call us, we won’t call you!
Citizens need a mayor not so self-absorbed as to tell the city council “I only have a minute left” after she talked at, not with, them and then skedaddled like a junior varsity head coach disappeared by Samantha Stevens and I Dream of Jeannie (not THAT Jeannie, the real Genie in a bottle)
As I reflect on the future of this great city, I couldn’t help but look at the impact Medford has had on my life and how it molded me into the person I am today. I grew up in Wellington and graduated Medford High School; my husband Brian and I started our family on Belle Ave
In the city of Medford, Massachusetts School Superintendent Roy Belson, he who did not fully declare information requested in a public records request/freedom of information act filing regarding a varsity coach, is just as sneaky on the school website: there is still “to be determined” on the official school website, smack dab in the middle of the school year.
Here is what we know: Roy Belson has acted sketchy when a woman allegedly stole from 8 teachers on or about October 30, 2015, the news not hitting Fox 25 (where Medford resident Kerry Kavanaugh allegedly is an “investigative reporter) until the night of the Nov. 3 election. Belson has made no public comment that we know of regarding the lawsuit against councilor-elect George Scarpelli in regards to the rape of a 16 year old in Otis Mass when Scarpelli and Somerville Mayor Curtatone were part of the “chaperone” team, and Belson hasn’t made a comment that we are aware of on the press release of a crazed woman getting on a school bus to harass the students, your children, parents of Medford.
Why is Belson still the superintendent with all these problems on his watch?
You think Kerry Kavanaugh at Fox 25 gives a damn about Medford?
Kavanaugh’s mother, who lives at the same residence as Kerry Kavanaugh, gave money to support Stephani Muccini-Burke for mayor, despite the fact that Kerry, fired from a Tampa TV station for a nutty stunt, was the “moderator” of a debate at the Chevalier Theater on Oct. 15
With McGlynn/Muccini-Burke suck-ups Dan Kennedy and John Anderson on the panel, the “debate” was clearly tilted to favor Burke, and despite the advantage Burke was DEMOLISHED by her opponent, Bob Penta
It wasn’t even a toss up, it was a slaughter, with Muccini-Burke’s “pay-to-park” endorsement going over like a lead balloon, as well as Stephanie Burke praising Penta’s ideas on public access TV, basically, all of Penta’s ideas were embraced by the woman who was once his colleague.
Muccini-Burke’s colleague, being a gentleman, refused to ask Mrs. Burke, as Director of Personnel, why she wasn’t upfront about a Varsity coach no longer at the school as of June 30, 2015. After all, the Director of Personnel, who fumbled the Stephen LeBert fiasco in majestic fashion (it was a colossal disaster with LeBert walking the streets today after threatening to blow a hole through a driver’s head,) is too busy singing The Tremeloes Silence Is Golden https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n03g8nsaBro to do the job that the former Mayor, McGlynn, appointed her to do.
And the elephant in the room is the huge question, was Jenna Tarabelsi the only teacher allegedly having sex with students? A confidential source claims there was more than two teachers allegedly taking liberties with your children, parents of Medford students.
Now think about this, and it really hits home for the Burke family:
1)Ryan Burke is the Assistant Varsity Coach
2)Stephanie Muccini-Burke was Director of Personnel
3)Middlsex Superior Court Assistant Clerk Brian Burke called this reporter a “motherfucker” on October 15, 2015 in front of seniors and woman, many witnesses.
You’ve got a court clerk, a director of personnel and a colleague of the alleged “missing teacher, missing Junior Varsity Head Coach, and anger exhibited from “Daddy Dearest,” Ryan’s old man, Brian Burke.
What the hell is going on, Roy Belson? Why so silent, Roy?
noun: varsity; plural noun: varsities
the principal team representing a high school or college in a sport or other competition.
A former Malden wrestling coach who called his students “disciples in training” and instructed them to perform sexual acts to be a part of his team is facing charges of raping one of his students and more victims are likely to come forward, according to authorities.
Prosecutor Michelle Margolis said Everett Bower, 32, asked his wrestlers to perform sex acts as the culmination of their four-step indoctrination into his “family.”
Bower has coached boys wrestling at Savio Prep High School in East Boston, Malden High and Malden Catholic, though he’s currently unemployed. Margolis described in court how he would instruct his young charges to tell him a secret and show him some act of devotion before performing a sex act in order to be initiated into the club.
She said she expects more victims to surface now that one 17-year-old Malden boy has told police about the alleged abuse that began when he was studying judo with Bower at age 8.
SCHOOL DISTRICT DESTROYED DOCUMENTS.
Mark Berndt, a former LAUSD teacher accused of committing lewd acts against dozens of students, appears in court for a preliminary setting hearing on July 15, 2013.
After nearly a week with no response to our inquiries about allegations the Los Angeles Unified School District destroyed documents that may have held key evidence in child abuse cases within the district, a spokesman admits the documents no longer exist.
In an interview with KPCC, Sean Rossall of Cerrell Associates, the public relations representative hired by one of the law firms representing the district to exclusively handle media inquiries about the Miramonte child abuse scandal, says the documents were destroyed sometime in 2008.
Mrs. Burke’s promise of “inclusion” is an oxymoron when a suspicious individual, Paul A. Camuso, is the chair of Muccini-Burke’s “transition team.” Along with lacking in qualifications, the city of Medford knows very little about the secretive character with serious allegations swirling around his head like a dark cloud.
As noted in earlier writings on another site, Mr. Camuso would go kicking and screaming to the conflicted City Solicitor when questions about his background were asked. Sure enough, in a response to a public records request there was a CC to Mark E. Rumley, who works lockstep with Mayor Michael J. McGlynn and Paul Camuso. This is proof positive that city hall is squelching your right to know. There is no transparency in the McGlynn Administration, which is how Mark Rumley is ordered to do things: in the dark of (k)night, and in the shadows.
What we do know is that Mr. Camuso admitted to the residents of Medford via a comment made at the city council that he is in “Alcoholics Anonymous,” the key word being “My name is Paul and I am an A L C O H O L I C. Muccini-Burke sure wants to be inclusive having an alcoholic chair her team. Good for Paul Camuso, not so good for the city of Medford. Then there’s the self-deprecating remark that Camuso made at the council that he is a “mental moron.” No argument there, we have seen his foot inserted firmly in his mouth week after week after week engaging in censorship and worse, getting downright ugly with senior citizens.
